Porter magazine – Let’s Rejoice
everybody (who is everyone, really?) states print magazines are so over. Dead. Morte. It’s all about the on the internet space.
Sorry, however I still adore magazines. I like to hold a magazine in my hands rather than checked out the exact same material on the computer/iPhone.
I’m extremely curious about the new magazine, PORTER, from the on the internet powerhouse, Net-A-Porter. They didn’t have to produce a print version of the magazine. I’m glad they made a decision to.
It’s fascinating that doorperson will shoot clothes by designers that are not offered on Net-A-Porter, such as Chanel. To me this (along with function articles about traveling, design, the arts, tech, etc.), sends a remove signal that doorperson is going to be a appropriate magazine, not just one more location for on the internet shopping.
It will be offered in sixty countries. While the business is based in London, the magazine is written in American English.
Given the consistently dreadful news about the specify of print media, I’m ecstatic to see Net-A- doorperson take this risk.
I cannot wait to get my hands on it.
