Color Crush: get happy With This gentle and cheerful hue

From Vincent van Gogh’s sunflowers to the classic raincoat, a pop of yellow has enduring appeal. This season, we’re celebrating daffodil, with its slightly more muted hue. reminiscent of buttercup yellow but with an orange undertone, the shade brings grounding warmth to rooms and plays well with both earth tones and neutrals. “Daffodil will lift your spirits and chase away grey days. Drench your space in the warm glow of this lovely yellow,” says H&H’s West coast Editor Emma Reddington. Accent furniture with a throw pillow or quilt in daffodil for a dash of color. Or, for a more whimsical look, consider a wallpaper with sunny hues. next to powdery pink, muted green or creamy whites, daffodil is a natural declaration of joy and liveliness.
